Reykjavik, June 2009-Foolsgold Iceland was a benefit for A.S.E.A., Artists Supporting Environmental Awareness at the Lost Horse Gallery andeold horse stable in Reykjavik and focused on Arctic animals and sealife. The show opened during festivities for the national holiday. A travel grant was provided by the United States Embassy in Iceland.
The artists featured in the show were Shanan Campanaro, Lana Crooks, Maria Kozak, Meg McGreevy, Alexander Zaklynsky and the Princes of Royal Blood, a collaboration between Jonsi & Alex.
The show was also sponsored by the Reykjavik Grapevine, Boston’s, and Karacas.
